The pace of baseball is perfectly matched for summer.

We’re enjoying a quiet moment at a nice cafe in downtown Indiana, PA, called “Amadeus.” It’s fittingly decorated anti-corporate and has the low hum of a library. The owners, William and Andrea Szep, do a lovely job with coffee from their twin, old-fashioned 1 lb roaster. Such places as this are off the map but [...]

… setting up a La Marzocco GS3 on the kitchen counter flanked by a Mazzer grinder and a big bag of exquisite post-roast blend espresso. To bad it has to travel and be put to work in catering. We’ll miss it those days.
